Facial expression analysis happiness subtelties

A recent study by scientists at Ohio State University reports that new computer software is able to recognise 21 distinct facial expressions, each signifying a specific emotion.

After clicking the button, unmasking of the face stopped and participants made a seven-way forced-choice decision between the possible expressions by clicking on one of the respectively labelled buttons. Humans communicate not only with words but also with gestures, movements and facial expressions and, of course, emojis.
